Apoyo educativo remoto · Remote educational support

Assignments pile up. Materials and documents go missing. Deadlines arrive sooner than expected. There is an intention to study, but getting started, staying focused, or choosing what to do first feels difficult.
These challenges can happen in elementary school, secondary school, and college. They do not always reflect a lack of interest or effort. Sometimes, students need direct instruction and practice with strategies that support executive functioning.
These are the mental skills that help us organize, plan, remember information, begin tasks, sustain attention, manage time, and regulate emotions. Students can strengthen these skills through explicit teaching, practice, and support tailored to their educational stage.
Organization and planning: building routines for managing materials, notes, calendars, and deadlines.
Getting started: breaking large assignments or projects into smaller steps and identifying a clear first action.
Time management: practicing how to estimate the time a task requires and plan periods for studying, working, and taking breaks.
Focus and follow-through: identifying distractions and using strategies to return to a task and monitor progress.
Study habits: organizing review sessions, preparing for exams, and spreading work out to reduce last-minute buildup.
Managing frustration and adapting to change: practicing how to pause, adjust a plan, and try again when something changes or feels difficult.
In college: working on semester planning, balancing multiple courses, managing long-term projects, and adjusting to greater academic independence.
I offer remote educational executive function training and support for elementary, secondary, and college students.
Sessions include materials I create and activities adapted to each student’s age, needs, and goals. We use real academic situations to practice strategies students can gradually incorporate into their routines.
The goal goes beyond saying “get organized” or “try harder.” It is to teach students how to begin, how to plan, and how to follow through, while supporting greater independence.
Please note: This is an educational service. It is not therapy and does not replace mental health services or clinical treatment. Insurance is not accepted.
Looking for support for your child, or are you a college student interested in strengthening these skills?
